Ron Leary is a modern day folk singer from Canada’s deep dark south.

Songs of love, devotion, poverty, revolution, murder and numerous odes to the highway life dominate Leary's narrative.

In a career that began as a six year old, playing drums in his parents country & western band The Corn Huskers, Ron Leary is now a well seasoned and captivating performer nearing his third decade on the stage.

He has criss-crossed Canada numerous times over the past decade playing to audiences large and small in support of his two full length releases theroadinbetween (2006) and Dependent Arising (2010). 

Currently Ron is laying low working on a new album. It'll likely be released some time in 2012. Stay tuned.
